Liposuction Surgery – Is It Safe?

January 8, 2015

In this era where everyone wants to have the best body with the apt cuts, fitness has gained its due importance. Liposuction is a boon to those areas where stubborn fat gets accumulated and fat suction gets you the desired shape. Liposuction is often performed on areas where even after years of exercising and practicing diet regimes does not seems to function. It is after careful analysis the doctors decide to perform the same. It’s not a weight reduction technique at all but a shape soldering task.

With the modern technology liposuction has become safer in its techniques like:

  • Laser technique: This uses laser waves to liquefy the fat and ejected through a cannula.
  • Ultrasounds: Commonly used to remove the belly fat through ultra sounds.
  • Tumescent liposuction: A stubborn part is made numb through anesthesia and in turn the fat is ejected.

Liposuction is good enough to get you the right shape but there would be some side effects if it is not guided correctly. Foremost the doctor has to correctly diagnose that the fat is obstinate else it may lead to regeneration. Liposuction once done does not tighten the skin except laser liposuction, this tightening happens over a period of time. Hence many remain disappointed as the expectation of losing weight is not fulfilled.

It is very important that a number of opinions are taken on the decision whether or not liposuction has to be performed. Like every stuff has its pros and cons liposuction too has it; but in such cases where there are risks involved multiple opinions and careful thought can be a valuable sword.
